Behavioral Health - How Does it Work?
STEP 1: Obtain consumer consent and enroll at Southern Pharmaceutical. This can be done via fax or email of the enrollment form, or by calling us with the consumer's address, insurance and contact information.
STEP 2: Fax or call in prescriptions to Southern Pharmaceutical.
STEP 3: New orders are filled and usually mailed out same day, with FedEx service available in more urgent situations.
STEP 4: Each time the consumer visits the physician the new prescriptions are faxed to Southern Pharmaceutical where we maintain the chart and track refills or changes.
STEP 5: Refills are sent each month without the consumer needing to keep track. When refills are exhausted, we proactively contact the physician.
